So that's why the basil is dying

So we figured out why my basil is dying....First I thought insects. So I moved it inside. But it was still continuing to die and I couldn't find anything on it. Then I figured some weird Hawaiian plant fungus. Well..tonight we came home from one of the hotel watering holes to fine a cocoon. Great! Well...its back outside again. Glad I planted some new basil last week.

My assistant at work put it well last week. She said "something must be eating it. You know, nobody grows basil around here, everyone else just grows ti leaves or pakalolo. So you are growing some special food for all the animals and insects here."

She was right.
